About the Job


As a part of this function, the R&D Technology and Execution team designs, develops, and maintains software products and solutions, including the underlying systems and architecture. Responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D functions.


We are looking for a talented senior developer with the skills and passion to successfully implement complex technical solution to join our Engineering & Schematics team.


Key responsibilities:


  • You will work with the Product Owner, Stakeholders and the Scrum Team to understand, define and implement solution requirements
  • Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members including sprint planning and estimating; backlog refinement; daily Scrum meetings; sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews
  • Ensure your code is fully reviewed, unit tested and documented and delivered to agreed quality standards

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:


  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience


  • BE, B Tech, MCA in Computer science, IT, Electronics or related stream.


  • Expertise in developing the .Net desktop applications.


  • Demonstrate examples of strong design and coding skills in multiple languages, one of which must be C#


  • Experience in Win forms/ WPF development is required.


  • Excellent knowledge on Advanced Object-Oriented Programming concepts & design patterns.


  • Knowledge on Unit Testing: one or more of these MS TEST, NUnit Frame work.


  • Experience of working with Azure, Git, ClearCase and related tools.


  • Experience of using Agile methodologies.


  • Exceptional communication skills, working with a broad range of people, including Product Owners, Testers & Product Support across sites


  • Able to coach and mentor less experienced colleagues


  • Positive approach to problem solving with a ‘can do’ attitude.


Good to have skills:


  • Experience in writing automation test cases


  • Knowledge of cloud development, REST API's and CI/CD pipeline will be added advantage.
