Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with a diverse team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, focusing on enhancing the overall quality throughout the application lifecycle. Your responsibilities include executing continuous testing efforts that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. You develop and implement automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in reviewing code, tracking defects, and contributing to ongoing improvements in the testing processes to support the delivery of high-quality software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing activities with project goals.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of the application.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing best practices.
- Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages relevant to test automation.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to ensure effective issue resolution.
- Ability to analyze complex system interactions and design comprehensive test scenarios.
- Understanding of security testing principles and API testing methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
