Quality Control Executive

We are looking for a Gemstone Quality Control professional to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for Quality Control before processing the gemstones for shipments.

What you'll do:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Follow the guidelines and SOPs

  
  

• Assist TL/Managers in identifying areas for improvement

  
  

• Perform QC on 100% gemstones before shipping

  
  

• Ensure the quality of images and videos captured are as per Nivoda standards

  
  

• Ensure gemstones are quality checked as soon as they arrive and decrease waiting time to perform QC on each gemstone

  
  

• Perform QC as per the set process maintaining high standards of Nivoda Quality Control which become industry benchmark

  
  

• Ensure 0 customer complaints with regards to quality of gemstones

  
  

• Notify customers of all quality control issues and get buyer team to offer replacement goods if needed

  
  

• Ensure all gemstones are collected in a timely manner, checked for quality and handed over to the Shipping team for timely delivery

  
  

• Maintain quality record and generate reports

  
  

• Take delivery of all gemstones delivered in the office. Match invoice with system price

  
  

• Responsible for safe upkeep of all gemstones received in office

  
  

• Daily matching of gemstones received, shipped and stored in safe

  
  

What you'll need:

• 2 to 8 years of Experience in Gemstones - Grading, someone who can do basic Quality checks on gemstones such as rubies, emeralds, and sapphires.

  
  

• Speaks good English, written and verbal

  
  

• Is transparent & honest- as he/she will be dealing with gemstones

  
  

• Ability to multitask efficiently with multiple counterparts

  
  

• Attention to detail

  
  

• Humble, honest, trustworthy

  
  

• Shows respect & appreciation for every person

  
  

• Takes 100% responsibility with a can-do attitude - Does not blame, complain, criticize or condemn

  
  

• Basic experience in color grading
