Quality Assurance Technician, Delivery Choices, Amazon Delivery Experience

The Amazon Delivery Experience Org is hiring Quality Assurance Technicians to work in our Software Development Center in Hyderabad. At Amazon, Delivery Choices (DC), under Amazon's Delivery Experience (DEX) organization, is chartered to offer our Retail customers with alternatives to 'fast' delivery options by addressing their needs for control, choice, sustainability, and the convenience of receiving items together.
You will join a highly technical and entrepreneurial culture defining and building the next generation of software solutions for the DC products and launching them in every Amazon store worldwide.
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Delivery Choices features through thorough test planning, execution, and defect management. You will work closely with engineers and product managers to validate that our features meet customer expectations across multiple Amazon marketplaces.
Key job responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans for Delivery Choices features
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification
- Validate features across multiple Amazon marketplaces and locales
- Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing to confirm resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to understand feature requirements and identify test scenarios
- Participate in sprint planning and provide test effort estimates
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to test case repositories
- Escalate risks and blockers related to quality and release readiness
- Support production verification testing during and after deployments
- Experience building and designing test cases including knowledge of test methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA or similar)
- Experience testing web-based or mobile applications
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
- Experience testing across multiple browsers, devices, or locales
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Experience with basic scripting or running automated test suites
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document issues clearly
