Your impact

The Proposal Manager will provide bid leadership and support for complex strategic proposals for APAC Data Center opportunities, client accounts or new services. The Proposal Manager supports the Regional Sales Operations Director and Team Leaders to instill an inclusive culture within the team that values diversity of thought and lives Jacobs’ Culture of Caring. As a member of the team, you actively contribute to mentoring and capability development within Sales Operations. You will practice and model the collaborative consulting skills needed to form partnerships within complex stakeholders in the business and continue to develop your coaching, leadership, and facilitations skills. You need to be effective at bringing the ideas of others to market; have good judgment about which ideas and suggestions that work; and be able to manage the work winning and creative process of others.



  • As Proposal Manager, you facilitate and lead the application of the end-to-end Relationship-Based Sales (RBS) process to help position Jacobs to win specific projects, programs and develop meaningful client relationships. 
  • You focus on specific opportunities, client accounts or new services that contribute overall growth for our region partnership with our Outside Sales Market Directors. 
  • You collaborate and challenge the Sales Lead and Capture Manager/Operations in developing distinctive value propositions that enhance our customers’ competitive position.
  •  Leverage global network to identify and put forward Jacobs’ unique capabilities and resources. 
  • Organize, direct, and motivate multidiscipline opportunity teams to develop sales deliverables for specific proposals to grow the business. 




Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any relevant Degree with around 10+ years of thorough experience
  • As a Proposal Manager, you will work closely with Client Account Managers, Market Sales Directors and Head of Sectors on opportunity and client positioning activities of business critical opportunities which involve developing appealing differentiations for all levels of our client organizations, including C-suite.
  • Within the function, you pro-actively initiate, facilitate and lead the application of the end-to-end Relationship-Based Sales (RBS) process to help position Jacobs to win major projects, programs and develop meaningful client relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Advocating and implementing our bespoke process. Autonomy is a given, but the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment is important to being successful.
  • You collaborate, motivate, and challenge your partners in developing distinctive value propositions that enhance our customers’ competitive position.
  • Leverage global network to identify and put forward Jacobs’ unique capabilities and resources. Organize, direct, and motivate multidiscipline opportunity teams to develop sales deliverables across the portfolio to grow the business.
