The ideal candidate will bring strong project management capabilities combined with domain knowledge of US healthcare frameworks, compliance standards, and delivery excellence.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery, and drive continuous improvement in project execution.
Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of US healthcare projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and leadership, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Ensure adherence to US healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and other compliance standards.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively to ensure successful project delivery.
Drive communication and reporting across all levels, ensuring transparency in project status, milestones, and challenges.
Oversee vendor coordination and third-party integrations where required.
Implement best practices in project management and continuously improve delivery processes.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to enhance overall team capability.
Must-Have Skills: Proven experience as a Project Manager in US Healthcare environments (payer/provider/health tech).
Strong understanding of US healthcare systems, workflows, and compliance requirements.
Expertise in project planning, execution, and delivery management.
Ability to manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects with distributed teams.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Good-to-Have Skills: Experience in roles such as Delivery Manager or Program Manager.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar platforms.
Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, etc.
Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Extensive experience (11–20 years) in project management, with a significant focus on US healthcare projects.
