In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.





Your role and responsibilities
  • As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional project teams in delivering custom development solutions or managing the Maintenance and Support of applications. You will be accountable for ensuring that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Manage Project Plans and Budgets: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution. This includes managing IBM, client employees, and 3rd-party vendors.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver custom development solutions or manage the Maintenance and Support of applications, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Establish Communication Plans: Establish an effective communication plan to deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure Contractual Obligations: Ensure that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations.

  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies to deliver custom development solutions or manage the Maintenance and Support of applications, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in response to changing project requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and delivering regular project status updates to ensure that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
