Job Overview
The Business Analytics Int Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Core Analytics Responsibilities:
- Gathers operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
- Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
- Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational polices
- Additional Responsibilities related to Project Management:
- AI Project Strategy & Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for AI/ML initiatives. Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, budget management, timelines, and technical requirements, incorporating the unique phases of AI model development, validation, and deployment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with data scientists, quantitative analysts, tech and business teams. Facilitate effective communication, manage expectations, and ensure alignment across diverse functional groups and senior leadership.
- Risk and Governance Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, including those specific to AI model development (e.g., data bias, model drift, ethical considerations) and financial market risks within liquidity management. Ensure all AI solutions comply with internal governance frameworks.
- Budget and Resource Optimization: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure optimal utilization of financial and human resources. Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Oversight & Integration: Possess a foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies (e.g., predictive modeling, natural language processing, deep learning) and their application in financial services. Guide the integration of AI solutions with existing treasury systems, data platforms, and liquidity management tools.
- Performance Monitoring & Value Realization: Establish clear success metrics for AI projects and monitor model performance post-deployment. Ensure that implemented solutions deliver anticipated business benefits, provide actionable insights, and contribute to improved liquidity risk management.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Marketing and Communication Content Creation: Develop engaging marketing content, including project newsletters, status scorecards, and comprehensive senior-level presentation decks (QBR/ MBR). Tailor content to various audiences, highlighting project progress, achievements, challenges, and strategic implications for stakeholders and executive management.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or MBA (Finance) or equivalent in Finance
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant portion dedicated to technology-driven or complex data projects.
- 1-3+ years of direct experience managing AI/ML projects from conception to deployment.
- Demonstrable experience within the financial services industry, specifically with corporate or transaction banking
- Proven track record of managing projects with diverse technical and business stakeholders, including data scientists, engineers, and financial analysts.

- Strong Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate highly skilled technical and business teams; adept at stakeholder management and influencing outcomes.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills to understand complex data and model challenges, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Communication & Presentation Excellence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear, concise, and compelling presentations, newsletters, and reports for diverse audiences, including senior executives.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira), collaboration tools, and advanced data analysis tools. Experience with presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) for creating professional senior-level decks.
- Adaptability: Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to new technologies and regulatory landscapes.
Working Conditions
- Works in hybrid arrangements.(3 days in office per week)
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate project deadlines and global team coordination.
