We are looking for: Senior System Engineer– (Project Engineer - AIS Switchgear) You’ll make an impact by: · Analyze customers' Medium Voltage switchgear requirements to develop detailed design engineering essential for the review and manufacture of switchgear. · Prepare electrical drawing packages (including panel arrangements, nameplate schedule, schematic diagrams, communication drawings, three-line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, and wiring diagrams) for factory manufacturing of the switchgear and customer documentation using CAD software. · Work directly with project engineers to create product solutions meeting customers’ expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner. · Work directly with the manufacturing teams, addressing any challenges as they produce your designs. · Initiate and support product as well as process improvements through cross-team collaboration. Use your skills to move the world forward! · Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. · Proven 5+ years of experience working with the design/configuration of electrical power distribution products and systems. Preference given to experience with switchgear. · Strong working knowledge of standard protection and control technologies used in medium voltage power distribution products with proven ability to share this knowledge with others. · Ability to analyse customers’ technical specifications regarding the application of protection and control systems and apply appropriate product solutions to meet the customers’ expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner. · Ability to read, understand, and evaluate electrical schematics. · Ability to multitask and manage large workloads and business demands.
