What this job involves

You will be responsible for supporting the overall facility operations and ensuring that all technical and soft services are maintained efficiently during your shift. Your key deliverables will be to:
  • Assist in managing and maintaining electromechanical and utility services at the site with the help of the technical team.


  • Support preparation and implementation of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.


  • Conduct routine site inspections to identify risks, defects, and improvement areas.


  • Monitor and review work performed by technicians and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.


  • Track assets under Defect Liability Period (DLP) and AMC/CAMC contracts and maintain proper documentation.


  • Support hiring, training, and development of shift engineers, supervisors, and maintenance staff.


  • Monitor SLA’s and KPI’s for in-house and outsourced teams to ensure effective service delivery.


  • Coordinate with clients and occupants for technical concerns and ensure timely resolution of service requests and complaints.


  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive service improvements.


  • Assist in organizing events, CSR activities, and ensure proper facility arrangements and guest handling.


  • Maintain service excellence and ensure performance indicators remain within agreed benchmarks.


  • Ensure timely renewal of vendor agreements, invoice processing, and payment follow-ups.


  • Review vendor quotations, cost comparisons, and invoice submissions.


  • Verify attendance records and support cost sheet submissions.


  • Conduct monthly vendor meetings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.


  • Support energy conservation initiatives and sustainability measures.


  • Prepare and verify monthly utility readings with occupants.


  • Ensure all logbooks, checklists, and compliance records are updated regularly.


  • Maintain equipment history cards and asset documentation.


  • Attend major breakdowns, escalate critical issues, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.


  • Ensure work permits and safe work procedures are strictly followed.


  • Assist in risk assessments and support root cause analysis for system failures.


  • Develop corrective and preventive action plans along with emergency response procedures.


  • Participate in evacuation drills and be part of ERT/QRT teams.


  • Prepare engineering reports such as DMR and MMR.


  • Coordinate with regional and head office teams to ensure timely closure of reports and audits.


  • Promote and enforce the safety culture under the slogan “No Safety No Work.”


Reporting

You will be part of the operations team and report directly to the Property Manager / Technical Manager.
