Summary
Team Lead with strong expertise in Siemens Tecnomatix and Teamcenter Manufacturing Planning (MPP), responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing process planning, layout planning, and digital manufacturing initiatives. The role focuses on driving manufacturing process definition, layout design and resource positioning using Tecnomatix Line Designer, and study-based optimization using Study Manager, while ensuring digital continuity across Tecnomatix and PLM platforms. The position includes team leadership, stakeholder coordination, and delivery ownership across automotive or industrial manufacturing programs.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end manufacturing process planning using Teamcenter Manufacturing Planning (MPP), including creation and management of MBOM, BOP, routings, and manufacturing process structures.
Define operation sequencing, station allocation, takt time alignment, and resource planning to meet manufacturing and program objectives.
Drive layout planning and resource positioning using Tecnomatix Line Designer, covering factory, line, and station-level layouts.
Optimize positioning of machines, robots, tooling, fixtures, material flow elements, and operator workstations considering space, safety, ergonomics, and process flow.
Lead 3D process authoring and validation using Tecnomatix Process Designer / Process Preparation.
Create and manage manufacturing studies using Tecnomatix Study Manager to evaluate alternative layouts, process concepts, and resource configurations.
Ensure alignment between MPP, Line Designer, Process Designer, Study Manager, Process Simulate, and Plant Simulation for digital manufacturing continuity.
Support virtual builds, digital manufacturing reviews, and early feasibility validation of processes and layouts.
Manage change management, configuration control, and effectivity handling within Teamcenter Manufacturing environments.
Lead, mentor, and technically review work of process planners, layout engineers, and digital manufacturing team members.
Define and implement standards, templates, and best practices for process planning, layout design, and Tecnomatix tool usage.
Act as a key interface with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, simulation teams, and customers.
Support scope definition, effort estimation, solution inputs, and pre-sales activities, ensuring smooth transition from planning to execution.

Must To Have Skills: Teamcenter Manufacturing Planning (MPP), Tecnomatix Line Designer, Tecnomatix Process Designer, Tecnomatix Study Manager, Process Simulate and Plant Simulation.
NX or CATIA exposure.
Awareness of virtual commissioning workflows.
Exposure to global OEM manufacturing and layout standards.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable product features.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage product backlogs and roadmaps with a focus on delivering customer value.
Experience in applying human-centered design principles to product development.
