ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Description:

Theroleis responsible forthe design, integration, and management of complex systems that encompass both hardware and software componentsinto theorganization’scloudinfrastructure.This individualwillbe responsible forall activities related to handling and supportingtheBusiness and platforms including system administration, as well as incorporatingnew technologiesunder the challenge of a sophisticated and constantly evolving technology landscape.This role involves ensuring that all parts of a system work together seamlessly to meet the organization’s requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business partners and other software engineers to develop and deploy the latest, advanced technologies in support of product optimization

  
  

• Work closely with the delivery and platform teams to ensure that the applications are aligned with standard city planning approved architectural and development guidelines

  
  

• Support selected efforts to design, build, and develop rapidProof-of-Concept(POC) automated solutions and services. Quickly and iteratively prove or disprove the concepts being considered

  
  

• Develop and design systems architecture, ensuringthatit meets both current and future needs of the organization

  
  

• Integrate hardware and software components into a cohesive system that meets functional and performance requirements

  
  

• Perform system testing and validation to ensure all components function correctly and efficiently

  
  

• Optimizesystem performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during system operation

  
  

• Create andmaintaincomprehensive documentation of systems design, configurations, and procedures

  
  

• Work closely with other engineers, IT staff, and project managers to ensure successful implementation of systems

  
  

• Monitor andmaintainsystems to ensure they continue tooperateeffectively and efficiently

  
  

• Implement automation tools and processes to improve the efficiency and reliability ofthe system

  
  

• Conducttrainingand workshopsfor business teamsto share bestpractices in the industry.

  
  

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree with 13 - 17 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor related field

  
  

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Experiencein cloud platformsincludingAWS

  
  

• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

  
  

• Hands-on experience with computerized systems including troubleshooting, reliability, and performance improvements

  
  

• Experience with translating business requirements to technical requirements and recommend solutions for automation

  
  

• Proficiencyin programming languagesincludingR, Python

  
  

• Experience andstrong knowledge ofPOSIT Tools and Services

  
  

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum

  
  

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with DevOps tools and practices

  
  

• Strong understanding of systems engineering processes and methodologies

  
  

• Experience with systems integration and validation

  
  

• Knowledge of Clinical Development domain

  
  

Professional Certifications:

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Teams (preferred)

Shift Information:

This position requires you to work a later shift and may beassigneda second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, asrequiredbased on business requirements.
