The RoleAs a Senior Software Developer in our Technology Group, you will contribute and develop new solutions to aid in achieving AspenTech’s Performance Engineering vision. You will leverage your skills and passion to provide leadership that will help drive AspenTech’s Asset Optimization strategy.

Your Impact

• Design, develop, maintain, and support new and existing data capabilities for AspenTech’s Performance Engineering products.
• Collaborate with product managers, product designers and developers to develop detailed product requirements and specifications.
• Keep current with new and developing technologies as they appear in industry and assist in determining the feasibility of implementing new technologies.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Computer Science, Masters preferred
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise with relation database schema design.
• Experience with non-relational data stores, including NoSQL, Graph, or Time-Series data
• Expertise with database query and procedure optimization
• Experience with C# or C++ software development a plus.
• Experience with agile software development practices.
• Excellent communication skills
• English language fluency, both written and verbal
