Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – QA

In this role, you will design and maintain automation frameworks for API and GUI testing, implement BDD frameworks, collaborate on test strategies, execute tests, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, perform database validations, document defects, enhance productivity with Copilot, and generate reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for API and GUI testing

  
  

• Implement BDD frameworks using tools like Cucumber and API Automation Testing

  
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage

  
  

• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement

  
  

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Git and other DevOps tools

  
  

• Perform database validations using SQL queries

  
  

• Document and track defects using Jira and collaborate with developers for resolution

  
  

• Use Copilot for testing and productivity enhancement

  
  

• Generate and maintain detailed automation reports for stakeholders

  
  

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

  
  

• Hand on experience in automation testing (API and GUI)

  
  

• Experience in using Axios or Rest Assured for API Testing

  
  

• Strong programming skills in Java

  
  

• Hands-on experience with Selenium

  
  

• Experience with BDD Cucumber frameworks

  
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git version control

  
  

• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation

  
  

• Experience with Jira, Postman, and automation reporting tools

  
  

• Willingness to work till 12:30 AM IST (1:00 PM CST)

  
  

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with Rally or similar test management tools.

  
  

• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium

  
  

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript

  
  

• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.

  
  

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
