Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, GCP Data Engineering
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on GCP using services like Dataflow, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Cloud Functions.
• Build and optimize data transformations and ETL/ELT processes to prepare data for analysis.
• Should be proficient in DBT( let). Can able to write the DBT pipeline.
• Ingest and process data from various sources into Google Cloud Storage and BigQuery.
• Monitor data pipelines for performance and reliability and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide necessary data infrastructure.
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy within GCP.
• Assist senior engineers in the implementation of data governance and security policies on GCP.
• Learn and adopt new GCP data engineering services and best practices. Document data pipelines and processes clearly

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• GCP data services (BigQuery; Dataflow; Data Fusion; Dataproc; Cloud Composer; CloudFunctions; Pub/Sub; Google Cloud Storage)
• Programming languages e.g., Python/Java & SQL, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core data services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, DBT, Dataform,Dataflow, Cloud Composer).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and a good understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with at least one programming language relevant to data engineering (e.g., Python).
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Basic understanding of data quality and data governance concepts.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
