We are looking for a skilled Power BI Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, transforming data into meaningful insights, and delivering high-quality Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports Build and manage SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports Translate business needs into data models and visualization solutions Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency Work closely with data engineering teams for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) Implement best practices for Power BI development and governance Manage Power BI service (workspace, datasets, dataflows, security) Ensure proper documentation of reports, dashboards, and processes Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Power BI Development (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) Hands-on experience with Power BI Platform Engineering (deployment, governance, security) Proficiency in SSRS reporting Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes Experience working in Data Engineering / Data & Analytics environments Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in banking or financial services domain (preferred) Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse is a plus) Knowledge of data governance and reporting standards
