Role: Playwright Automation Test Engineer 6+ Years Banking Domain Location: Bangalore Experience: 6+ Years Domain: Banking Financial Services ________________________________________ Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and experience in the Banking domain The candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks ensuring high-quality releases through CICD integration ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Design and develop robust UI automation scripts using Playwright TypeScriptJavaScript Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks aligned with enterprise standards Collaborate with QA Dev and Business teams to understand requirements and define test strategies Perform end-to-end regression and integration testing across banking applications Integrate automation suites with CICD pipelines Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps etc Analyze defects perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution Ensure test coverage across critical banking workflows payments lending trade etc Contribute to continuous improvement of QE practices and automation efficiency ________________________________________ Required Skills 6+ years in QA with strong focus on test automation Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework Proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript Experience with CICD tools Jenkins Azure DevOps GitLab CI etc Strong understanding of API testing and tools Postman RestAssured Experience in Banking Financial Services domain Good knowledge of test design techniques defect management and Agile methodologies ________________________________________ Good to Have Experience in Trade Finance LC Guarantees SWIFT messages MT700707798 Exposure to integration testing across core banking payment systems Knowledge of BDD frameworks Cucumber Familiarity with performance testing tools Understanding of ISO 20022 SWIFT messaging flows ________________________________________ Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to work in fast-paced Agile environments
