We are currently seeking an Operations Head (Manager) who will be responsible for leading end-to-end operations across order management, service operations, tender management, third-party supplies, channel partner governance, and analytics, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction

This position reports to the General Manager, India & SWA and is part of the Operations function located in Bengaluru and will be an on-site role. 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading Order Management (Sales & Service):

Drive accurate and timely order booking, validation, backlog management, and billing readiness while ensuring compliance with commercial policies.  Including orders in foreign currencies with Letter of Credit / Cash Against Documents payment terms

Ensure effective execution of service contracts including billing, and compliance with contractual obligations.

• Overseeing Service Operations & Call Management:

Govern call logging, service coordination, SLA adherence, and customer communication to ensure superior service delivery.

• Managing Tender Operations:

Lead end-to-end tender lifecycle including identification, documentation, submissions (online/offline), compliance checks, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

• Driving Third-Party Supplies & Procurement:

Oversee local sourcing, vendor selection, pricing negotiation, procurement processes, and timely dispatch of materials.

• Channel Partner Onboarding & Compliance:

Manage distributor/vendor onboarding, qualification, documentation, and ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards.

• Analytics, Reporting & Dashboarding:

Drive data accuracy and business insights through reporting, KPI tracking, and Power BI dashboards to support decision-making.

• Team Leadership & Capability Building:

Lead and develop a team, fostering accountability, skill development, and a performance-driven culture.

• Process Governance & Continuous Improvement:

Establish standardized processes, track KPIs, and drive operational efficiency through process improvements and automation.

• Stakeholder & Escalation Management:

Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Service, Supply Chain, Legal, and Vendors to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.

The required qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field
• 12 – 18 years of experience in operations, sales operations, service operations, or supply chain roles
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and CRM tools
• Proven experience in managing teams and driving operational performance
• Experience in tender management and procurement processes
• Exposure to contract management, billing, and commercial operations
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and data/reporting tools

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Power BI or advanced data visualization tools
• Channel partner/distributor management and compliance frameworks
• Life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industry experience
