Murex Datamart Developer

Project description We are looking for a Murex Datamart Developer to join a large European bank's PostgreSQL Migration program. The role involves supporting migration and enhancement activities for Murex Datamart reporting and data extraction solutions as part of the bank's strategic database modernization initiative. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth migration, validation, and optimization of reporting workflows. Responsibilities Support migration of Murex Datamart components from existing databases to PostgreSQL Develop and maintain Datamart reports, feeders, and extraction workflows Perform SQL query optimization and performance tuning for PostgreSQL Analyze existing reporting solutions and identify migration impacts Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities during migration phases Work closely with business analysts and technical teams to resolve data and reporting issues Participate in release management and deployment support activities Ensure data consistency, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy across environments Skills Must have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Murex Datamart development Strong understanding of Murex architecture and reporting framework Good SQL development and query optimization skills Experience with PostgreSQL or database migration projects Knowledge of Datamart configuration, feeders, and reporting workflows Exposure to financial products, including FX, Fixed Income, MM, and Derivatives Unix/Linux working knowledge Experience working in Agile SDLC environments Strong analytical and communication skills Nice to have Experience in Oracle to PostgreSQL migration projects Exposure to treasury, risk, or regulatory reporting systems Experience in production support and release activities Familiarity with Jira and DevOps tools Knowledge of performance tuning and database optimization techniques Other Languages English: B2 Upper Intermediate Seniority Senior
