Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Material Cost:

Detail analysis of BOM on regular basis and its impact on product wise contribution margin
In depth analysis of purchase cost for BOM items on regular basis and its impact on product wise contribution margin
Detail analysis of forceful consumption, cost centre consumption, scrap, process loss, product wise yield etc
Conversion cost:

Cost centre, Production unit and plant wise capacity utilisation
Evaluation of off / In proposals 
Reduction in fixed cost / Improvement in productivity/ Analysis of rework cost
Inventory Management: 

Category wise inventory levels, Inventory turn over ratios etc.
Non moving inventory of Finished goods, Direct Material and Indirect material
Obsolete inventory and its impact on P&L
Inventory carrying cost 
Part wise contribution analysis for spares - price increase working  

Pricing of Inter-company / related party transactions.

Identifying cost reduction lever

Monitoring utilization of investments on bought out components

Business wise alloction of costs

Pricing of New product

Experience

5 to 7 years

Industry Preferred

Any Automotive or component manufacturing company or other manufacturing company
John Deere, Tata motors, Tafe, etc. 

Qualifications

CMA/ CA / ICWAI

Good analytical skills, Domain knowledge expert, Team player, composed nature, ability to work with deadlines.
