Qulification:Diploma/ BE - Electronics Engineering 

Experience:In between 6-9 years.

1. Job Profile

A.Projects:

 Departmental representative for the allocated project. Responsible for carrying out quality-assurance activities Customer / MDSL Design approved documents.

Maintenance documents of Electronics Section

   Ensure the effective maintenance of document-repository for all the projects and efficient retrieval of the same.
1.Projectwise file readiness, raw material COC, ATP, Configuration list, Pre-FAT/ FAT, Packing note, I note, Call letter Report
2.Calibration Reports
3.ESS & QT reports Compilation & finalization
4.Supplier inward inspection & Raw material data colletion 
4.MIS Prepration

B.Incoming Material Inspection & Verification

Inspect incoming raw materials, PCBs, components (connectors, switches, glands, etc.)
Verify against:rawings,Specifications,Purchase Order (PO),Check quantity, part number, revision level,Sampling Plan Implementation.

Maintain records:Inspection reports,Test results,GRN (Goods Receipt Note)

Use standards like:

ISO 2859 (AQL-based sampling),Decide,Sample size,Acceptance criteria

C.QA activities

Should understand QAP requirements and accordingly plan necessary inspection activities such as drawing review, raw material inspection, bought-out inspection, dimensional inspection of components, sub-assemblies, functional tests, document review, FATs, final inspection, and packing inspection, MIS Prepration.

D.Coordinator between internal & external customers

1.Should be responsible for communication between the Project Cross Functional Team (CFT).
2. To be able to carry out functional tests and FATs internally. 
3.Stores (for material receipt)
4.Production (for quality issues)
5.Design/Engineering (for technical clarifications)
6. Day to day update status by following up with Vendor for ESS, QT for electronics & electrical products.

E.Supplier Quality Management

Conversant with NC management, RCA and CAPA, periodic calibration activities, customer complaints and internal audits pertaining to QMS (ISO/AS). 
Knowledge of Quality Tools (8D,7QC tools etc.).
Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability

F.Knowledge of naval / global standards, naval policies and test procedures

Should be aware of naval / global standards, naval policies and test procedures, related to Electrical / Electronics engineering, like JSS-55555; applicable IPC standards, MIL STD 461 E/F and current DQA(N) policies, IPC610

G.Continuous Improvement Analyze rejection trends

Suggest process improvements Reduce incoming defects over time, Kaizen, POKA YOKE, KANBAN,5S

H.Basic computer operating Knowledge

1. MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc..)
2. SAP data entry

2. Functional Competencies

1) Knowledge of Bill of Material, General arrangements, Test Instruction / ATP/ FAT, Schematic / wiring diagram
3) Ability to use & handle various electrical & electronics instruments - Megger, Multimeter, Oscilloscope etc.
4) Should have knowledge of relevant test standards of electrical & electronics acceptance methods IPC  610(PCBA Standard)
5) Previous working in QC OR QA function in electrical & electronics domain.
6)Knowledge about the Supplier Evaluation & Performance measurment Like Quality ratings, Audit
7)Perform inspection and testing of incoming materials as per specifications
8)Ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and purchase requirements
10)Implement sampling plans (AQL) and support supplier quality improvement
11)Quality Format, SOP, SWI, Procedure prepration
12) Good English communication - word Excel Power point
13) Out station travelling for QA work
