We are looking for: Solution Engineer (Mechanical Specialist – E-House Engineering) You’ll make an impact by: · Review customers technical specifications, one-line diagrams, plant layout and schematic diagrams regarding the application of Siemens MV/LV switchgear products, along with associated protection and control systems, and design appropriate product solutions to meet the customers’ expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner. · Independently engages with customers during Order Kick-off meetings and business development discussions, effectively facilitating technical conversations, securing necessary approvals, aligning project milestones, and supporting Proposal and Sales teams with strategic technical inputs. · Work closely with the cross functional teams for an efficient and effective execution of the project from the Bid Phase to the Project execution to handover phase. · Work independently to create all documents for customer approval and manufacture E-House at supplier works. · Prepare Bills of Materials, Layout Drawings, Specification Review documents. · Collaborate with globally based sales & proposal, technical teams independently to generate technical solutions for the Siemens suite of products. · Ability to take complete technical ownership of scope defined in solution package projects from initial concept through to final handover. · Lead efforts to improve team processes and tools to drive up overall team efficiency. · Treat all Siemens information and customer information confidentially. Use your skills to move the world forward! · Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. · 8-year engineering experience in an EPC, Engineering, manufacturing, utility, or corporate environment. · 5+ years’ experience in field of E-House or PDC engineering with 2D CAD knowledge. · Familiar with 2D, 3D drafting software like Autodesk Inventor or Revit, solidworks. · Must have knowledge of electrical panels installations with its clearances & its relative baseframe requirements, cable tray erection methodology, E-House relative products, Battery & Transformer room design. · Ability to summarise customers technical specifications, enlist shortfalls in provided information, good coordinator to gather information via oral & written. · Excellent collaboration, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills in a team environment, and demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks while maintaining excellent customer service. · Preparation & review knowledge of welding detailing, HVAC calculations, CFD, Mechanical structural calculation, Corrosion Protection Coating, Cable Tray, Conduit, Junction Box. · Calculation of Heat Loss of Equipment, Environmental, relative humidity, impact of positive Overpressure requirements, impact of Air-Change per hour (ACH). requirements, impact of Battery Rooms, forced ventilation for Transformer Rooms. · Travel Required – Less than 10%.
