Purpose : To support mechanical design and engineering activities for onshore/offshore oil & gas and industrial projects by delivering high-quality design deliverables in line with project standards and timelines.

The Role

As a Mechanical Designer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.  

• Develop mechanical design drawings and layouts (GA drawings, fabrication drawings, skid layouts, equipment layouts).
• Prepare and review 2D/3D models using tools like AutoCAD, E3D, SP3D or equivalent.
• Coordinate with piping, process, structural, and electrical teams for design integration.
• Assist in preparation of equipment datasheets, vendor drawings, and technical documentation.
• Review and incorporate vendor inputs and client comments into design deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, project specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Support project team in design reviews, model reviews, and clash checks.
• Maintain design quality, accuracy, and adherence to project schedules.                                                                        

About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience Required:
  • Experience in oil & gas / EPC / refinery / petrochemical projects.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical design and 3D modelling tools.
  • Exposure to brownfield / greenfield projects is an added advantage.
• Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Worley or EPC project environment.
  • Good understanding of international codes & standards (API, ASME, etc.).
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Hiring drive note:
  • This is an invite only hiring drive scheduled for Saturday, 20 June 2026.
  • Candidates must be pre screened and formally invited by the Talent Acquisition team to attend interviews at the Vadodara office.
  • Roles will be offered at Designers/ Senior Designers, depending on experience and skills. Compensation and grades will be aligned accordingly. Opportunities may be offered as permanent or fixed term positions.
