What success looks like in this role:

As a Tester, you will be responsible for System Testing against technical requirements. Your testing strategies should align with business goals and objectives. It should also meet all quality and compliances requirements

• Acts as the primary point of contact for testing facilitators, executors, and validators.
• Takes responsibility for the complete integrity of a solution. Interfaces with the client's IT managers and users on technical issues.
• Drive Automation Test activities in the project and increase automation test percentage.
• Applies industry or domain knowledge to deliver solution recommendations.
• Defines test plans and criteria for acceptance. Defines testing quality standards, guidelines, and testing methodologies for the team. Assists in defining the test strategy and release planning.
• Ensures the effective adoption and utilization of testing tools. Ensures the review of test artifacts and tracks to closure.
• Has hands on experience in one or more automation testing tools.
• Provides technical presentations to internal and external clients.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Bachelors’ or Master’s Degree in related field preferred.
• 2+ years of Testing experience within the IT Industry.
• Experience in Banking Domain with 2+ years’ experience in working on UK Mortgages and Savings market.
• Establishing and evolving formal Test automation practices, test processes, methodology, standards, and hygiene for agile development efforts.
• Experience in executing Performance Test and Regression Test activities.
• Experience in Manual testing and building and executing automated test scripts with automation tools like Selenium/Webdriver, Appium and other similar tools.
• API testing through tools such as SOAPUI, Postman.
• Performance testing through tools such as JMeter.
• Defect tracking and test case management using software systems like Azure DevOps.
• 2+ years experience in Unisys Financial Services System with good functional knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills.

BA/BS Degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
