Role summary

Manager, Strategy Operations & Reporting will sit within Risk Intelligence at LSEG and be based in India, with some overlap with UK working hours. The role supports multifaceted strategy projects by enabling end-users to easily access and utilize outputs via reporting, process coordination and maintenance of underlying data, trackers, and working materials. Where applicable, the Analyst will contribute to the build / design / maintenance of automation projects led by Risk Intelligence’s strategy team, aimed at improving organization effectiveness. The role supports strategy work in a financial crime and compliance context.



Why this role exists

This role exists to provide the operational backbone strategy for the Risk Intelligence strategy team, managing data integrity and analytical support activity - keeping core inputs, trackers and records accurate and up to date so that strategy projects and strategic initiatives be build and utilized with confidence.



Key responsibilities

·Prepare and refresh recurring strategy reporting, status updates and supporting packs using agreed inputs, templates and timelines.



·Maintain underlying data, trackers, working files and supporting records used across strategy projects and strategic initiatives.



·Seek out opportunities to automate recurring reporting, data maintenance and process steps, and help build scalable, well-controlled solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy and reliability.



·Standardize and continuously improve templates, trackers and reporting routines so recurring support activity can be delivered consistently and with less manual effort.



·Support the Manager, Strategy & Decision Support role by maintaining efficient, repeatable reporting and process workflows that are easy to run, update and scale.



·Work closely with the UK-based Manager, Strategy & Decision Support role on repeatable reporting, process and data maintenance tasks.



·Flag data gaps, inconsistencies or timing risks early and clearly.



·Keep recurring support materials organised, current and easy for others involved in the work to follow.



·Translate business requirements into standardised reports, dashboards or simple data solutions that improve access to strategy outputs.



Required experience

·2-4 years' experience in business reporting, planning support, strategy operations, business operations or a similar role combining recurring reporting, process support and data maintenance.



·Ability to work accurately and consistently with structured information and recurring deadlines.



·Strong attention to detail and follow-through.



·Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to collaborate effectively with UK-based colleagues.



·Ability to work with some overlap to UK hours.



·Working familiarity with the team’s reporting and visualization tools; including Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBI, and Snowflake. As well as related programming languages such as SQL and / or python.



Preferred experience

·Experience supporting a strategy, planning, commercial or business operations team.



·Exposure to recurring reporting on strategy projects, strategic initiatives or comparable business priorities.



·Experience working across UK and India time zones, or in a comparable cross-border support model.



·Exposure to collating business inputs for strategy or planning work.



·Experience creating dashboards or producing BI-style reporting solutions in a business setting

·Comfortable supporting multifaceted project work through structured processes, accurate records and timely reporting.



·Looks for practical ways to streamline repeatable work and improve reporting and support processes, with an emphasis on sustainable, scalable improvements rather than one-off fixes.



·Collaborative in style, especially where work depends on clear hand-offs between India and the UK.



·Financially and commercially minded, with a practical understanding of how reporting, data and support materials are used to inform business priorities and decisions.
