Manager / Sr. Manager - Data Analytics

Description

• Lead end to end delivery of data and AI led engagements, managing client relationships, timelines, budgets and scope
• Ensure timely and high-quality execution of deliverables from data sourcing to insights and reporting
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing strategic inputs and solution direction

• Define and review data architecture including data lakes, warehouses and Lakehouse models
• Provide guidance on data pipeline design, data models and data flows across systems
• Provide oversight on integration of enterprise systems including ERP platforms with data and analytics environments
• Review approaches for data extraction, ingestion and transformation across multiple systems
• Ensure best practices in data governance, data quality, security and scalability
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate data platforms and cloud solutions

• Design of AI and machine learning solutions including LLM based applications
• Define solution architecture for multiple AI use cases across industries
• Evaluate tools and frameworks for AI deployment, scalability and cost efficiency

• Develop and review interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, ensuring strong business relevance and usability
• Build analytical solutions and perform data analysis using Python to solve complex business problems and derive insights
• Perform data extraction, transformation and analysis using SQL on large and complex datasets, ensuring accuracy and scalability

• Mentor and guide analysts and consultants across data, analytics and AI domains
• Provide direction on solution design and review deliverables to ensure quality

• Ensure delivery of high quality and accurate work products through structured review processes
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, architecture and project execution
• Establish best practices and frameworks for consistent delivery

• Contribute to development of data and AI capabilities within the practice
• Support proposals, client pitches and solution design discussions
• Identify opportunities for expanding services and building reusable solutions
• Identify and collaborate with external vendors and partners to expand solution offerings and capabilities

• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on data and AI initiatives
• Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to deliver integrated solutions
• Ensure effective communication across stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle

• 6 to 10 plus years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, architecture or consulting roles
• Strong experience in data engineering concepts, data pipelines, data lakes and enterprise data platforms
• Experience working with SAP data environments and system integration
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Understanding of AI, machine learning and LLM based solutions
• Proven experience in leading complex data driven engagements from design to delivery
• Experience in consulting environments, preferably with Big4 or similar firms

• Strong understanding of data engineering, ETL and data architecture concepts
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, Power BI and Python
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, storytelling and client presentations
• Familiarity with AI, ML and LLM frameworks and analytics techniques

• Ability to guide and review technical solutions without being hands on in development
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in mentoring teams and managing deliverables
• Ability to work in a fast paced, client driven environment
