Job Summary:
Vialto Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager - People Operations (India) to lead and manage end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This is a country-level leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day People Operations, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and process efficiency while managing a Tier 1 support team.
The role requires a strong operational mindset, expertise in HR systems (especially Workday), and the ability to drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. People Operations Management (Hire to Retire)
Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding
Ensure seamless execution of HR operations with high accuracy and efficiency
Act as a point of escalation (Tier 2 support) for complex HR queries and issues
2. Service Delivery & Team Management
Manage and mentor the Tier 1 People Operations team
Drive service excellence through effective handling of Workday Help(Service Desk)tickets
Ensure adherence to definedSLAs, TAT (Turnaround Time), and quality benchmarks
Monitor and improveEmployee Net Promoter Score (NPS)
3. HR Systems & Workday Operations
Act as the primary owner ofWorkdayfor HR operations in India
Ensureaccuratedata management, reporting, and system governance
Partner with global teams for system enhancements and issue resolution
4. Payroll & Benefits Operations
Manage monthly payroll inputs in coordination withIndiapayroll team
Oversee benefits administration, including employee queries and enrollments
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all payroll-related data submissions
5. Compliance & Statutory Requirements
Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and statutory requirements includingPF, EPS,POSH,and other regulatory frameworks
Maintain audit readiness and documentation for all HR processes
Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks
6. Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations
Support TA operations including offer management, onboarding coordination, and candidate experience
Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure smooth hiring processes
7. Process Excellence & Automation
Identifyopportunities toautomate manual processesand improve efficiency
Develop andmaintainSOPs, playbooks, and knowledge documentation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and standardization across processes
8. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Provide regular reporting on operational metrics, SLAs, NPS, and process performance
Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align on People Operations strategy
Act as the India point of contact for People Operations matters
Qualifications & Skills
8-10 years of experience in HR Operations / People Operations
StrongexpertiseinWorkday(mandatory)
Proven experience in managing HR service delivery teams
Solid understanding of Indian labor laws, payroll, and compliance (PF, EPS, etc.)
Experience in handling HR helpdesk/service desk models
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and automation initiatives
