Labcorp is seeking a Manager, Data Management to join our team at , Brigade Twin Towers, 5th Floor, Crest Block, in Bangalore, Karnataka.


Essential Functions 


1. Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the client facing data management team(s) including but not limited to:


a. Ensure the development of a competent workforce to meet growth plans within budget.


b. Manage the workload balance globally.


c. Ensure the seamless integration of the client facing data management team services across the complete organization


d. Accountable for the activities and outcomes of the client facing data management team(s), taking corrective action where appropriate.


e. Ensure the consistent implementation, use and review of SOPs.


f. Ensure appropriate resource allocation to successfully implement and execute project plans to achieve agreed upon service levels.


g. Management of supervisors where applicable.


h. Provide leadership to the team in the area of project planning and execution, financial management, communication and milestone tracking.


2. Identify and lead the implementation of technologies and process improvements to meet or exceed current and anticipated business and client requirements.


3. Considered an expert in client facing data management.


4. Participate in the client facing data management leadership tasks related to planning, budgeting and cross-clinical data management team issues.


5. Instill and manage a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity.


6. Manage and supervise staff including but not limited to:


a. Coordinate and monitor team member progress to ensure achievement of clinical data management goals.


b. Day-to-day management and supervision of individual team members.


c. Complete thorough, timely and well-documented performance evaluations and interim progress reviews.


d. Establish and monitor performance objectives for direct reports and taking corrective action where appropriate.


e. Identify appropriate successors/deputies for all key roles within the clinical data management team(s).


7. Monitor, track, manage and ensure resolution of all customer complaints, issues and concerns.


8. Ensure all service failures are identified, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.  Take preventative action to ensure that the same service failure(s) does not occur again.


9. Effective and timely adherence to management communications, meetings and procedures.


10. Accountable for the effective management of the client facing data management team budget.


11. Work with appropriate Business Development Director and Global Study Manager to know the culture and pipeline of customers in order to align resources.  


12. Ability to travel.


Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Science


Preferred Qualifications


Master’s Degree in Science


3 or more years of management experience.


5 years of supervisory experience.
