Maker Experience & Client Engagement Specialist

* Operate and maintain 3D printing and maker lab equipment; ensure safety, SOPs, and uptime
* Support rapid prototyping including CAD readiness, slicing, printing, and post-processing
* Advise on design-for-additive manufacturing, materials, and feasibility
* Deliver client demos, walkthroughs, and hands-on prototyping sessions
* Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and innovation challenges
* Support pre-sales and innovation engagements through PoCs and tangible showcases
* Enable internal maker communities, events, and capability-building programs

Client & Engagement Skills
* Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
* Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* Experience in client-facing demos, workshops, or experiential sessions

* Drive hands on maker experiences by enabling rapid prototyping, experimentation, and creative use of hardware, software, and emerging technologies.
* Design and deliver engaging innovation programs, workshops, hackathons, and maker journeys that inspire learning, collaboration, and problem solving.
* Partner with clients and stakeholders to translate business challenges into maker led solutions, facilitating co creation and connecting prototypes to business value.
* Evangelize maker culture through storytelling, demos, showcases, and community building to strengthen engagement across internal teams and external ecosystems.
Technical Knowledge
* Hands-on experience in 3D printing and rapid prototyping
* Proficiency in CAD tools (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
* Understanding of materials, tolerances, and basic mechanical design
* Experience working in a maker space or innovation lab environment

To enable rapid prototyping and experiential innovation by leveraging 3D printing and maker technologies, while actively engaging clients, partners, and internal stakeholders through hands-on demonstrations, workshops, and co-creation sessions. The role exists to translate ideas into tangible prototypes and compelling innovation experiences that accelerate decision-making and value realization.
