This role is accountable for:


  • Operational Excellence: Seamless warehouse and transport execution
  • Cost Leadership: Driving logistics productivity and spend optimization
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensuring strict adherence to EHS, statutory, and financial controls
  • People Leadership: Building a high-performing, agile logistics organization
  • Transformation: Digitization, TMS deployment, and continuous improvement

Logistics Manager will lead end-to-end logistics operations across warehousing and transportation to deliver superior service, cost efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence for Honeywell India businesses. This role would be responsible to manage ~150 cr of Inventory & 50K+ monthly transactions to support multiple business across multiple Honeywell legal entities. The person will be responsible to manage of Team of 6-8 people along with team of outsource staff.


Warehousing & Distribution Center Management


Drive end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations to ensure seamless material flow, inventory accuracy, compliance, and high service levels across business units.


  • Lead 3PL warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality standards, safety norms, and delivery commitments
  • Manage large-scale inventory and high-volume transactions, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and working capital optimization
  • Own inbound, storage, stockroom, and outbound processes, ensuring smooth material flow across factory and distribution networks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize warehousing cost, improve turnaround time, and enhance service levels
  • Establish robust MIS/MOS and analytics dashboards to monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, TAT, fill rates, and productivity
  • Drive continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen) to reduce cycle time, improve DLE/productivity, and enhance process reliability
  • Ensure optimum workforce planning, including effective utilization of 3PL and outsourced manpower

Compliance & Governance – Warehousing


  • Ensure strict adherence to statutory, EHS, and Honeywell compliance standards across warehouse operations
  • Maintain inventory controls, audit readiness, and documentation discipline for internal and external audits
  • Enforce process standardization, SOP adherence, and risk mitigation practices to ensure operational integrity

Leadership & People Management – Warehousing


  • Lead and develop a cross-functional team (direct + 3PL workforce) to deliver high performance and accountability
  • Foster a culture of ownership, safety, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity
  • Drive capability building, coaching, and performance management to strengthen team effectiveness and succession pipeline
  • Balance workload dynamically and ensure team engagement and productivity under high transaction volumes

Freight Management & Transportation


Lead transportation strategy and execution across import, domestic, and export logistics with a strong focus on cost, service reliability, and digital transformation.


  • Own end-to-end transportation operations including import forwarding, domestic distribution, and export logistics
  • Drive carrier selection and daily coordination with freight forwarders for timely and cost-effective shipment movement
  • Deliver transport cost productivity and AOP targets, with strong governance on weekly spend and cost optimization levers
  • Implement digitization and TMS deployment to enhance visibility, tracking, and SLA adherence 
  • Monitor and improve logistics service provider performance through structured MBRs/QBRs and corrective action plans
  • Ensure proactive shipment tracking, escalation management, and issue resolution to meet delivery commitments
  • Manage transport billing, audit processes, and financial provisioning accuracy

Compliance & Governance – Transportation


  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and local transport laws
  • Maintain strong controls on freight billing, audit, and documentation to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
  • Drive risk management for critical/sensitive shipments, ensuring secure and compliant movement

Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Transportation


  • Lead cross-functional coordination with procurement, planning, manufacturing, and global logistics teams
  • Build strong partnerships with freight forwarders and logistics service providers to improve service and cost outcomes
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision making, accountability, and continuous improvement across transport operations
  • Champion digital transformation and change management initiatives within logistics

Qualifications:
