Job Summary**
The Logistics Coordinator at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for orchestrating the efficient flow of materials, products, and information throughout the supply chain. This role ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities**
* Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory management.
* Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and other necessary paperwork.
* Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
* Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
* Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant logistics information.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, planning, production, sales) to align logistics activities with overall business objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
* Assist in the selection and evaluation of transportation providers and logistics partners.
* Support the implementation of new logistics technologies and processes.

* Awareness about Freight In, Freight Out cost, overall logistic cost

Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in a logistics coordination or similar supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation modes, and supply chain best practices.
* Proficiency in logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
