Lead Infrastructure Engineer- NICE, NICE NTR-X, Verint, VOIP, AWS

As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Employee Platforms team, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Continue to evolve your technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of your aligned domain of expertise.

Job responsibilities

• Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope
• Drives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies
• Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
• Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity
• Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5+ years in platform engineering or infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years in a hands-on leadership position.
• Proven experience designing and managing infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure, including networking, storage, compute, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise with at least one of: NICE NTR-X, Calabrio, ASC, Ring Central, Global Relay, Thetalake, Smarsh, or Verint, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and customization.
• Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP), API integration, telephony systems, and call capture workflows.
• Experience in regulatory or compliance-driven environments, especially in financial services, or contact center operations.
• Deep knowledge of resiliency patterns, high availability, load balancing, and scalable system design.
• Proficiency with Linux/Windows environments, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), APIs, and infrastructure automation tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence across technical and business teams.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Experience integrating voice capture platforms with MS Teams, Unigy, Cisco Unified Communications, or Zoom.
• Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud recording architectures and migration strategies.
• Background in DevOps practices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
