At IT Services, we are passionate about modern technologies. Our Self Service Solutions team is continuously expanding. We are looking for a Java Developer. In our diverse environment you can always grow depending on your qualification level.

We are working in an agile way. This means that our teams are completely product oriented, have end to end responsibility both for the product in development and in production. As a Java Developer having profund knowledge of Java programming is a must have. Very good knowledge of Spring/Quarkus Framework will also be an integral part of this role.

You are a technology aficionado, therefore you also have a good understanding of Vaadin and Jakarta EE and you are also proficient with Oracle Database (SQL). You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up a team in India and keeping in touch with Development Lead in Germany as well as Architecture to ensure the success of the project.
• Ensure the timely delivery of Software packages with strict commitment to the highest standards of quality.
• Design and conception of customer requirements
• Refinement of customer requirements
• Implementation of new components and processes within the framework of Pack- and Poststation.
• Support with troubleshooting and debugging on the Pack- and Poststation for stabilization
• Development of tests with the goal to increase quality
• Technical leadership of the Indian backend development team

Professional Requirements:

• Completed degree from a university of applied sciences or comparable vocational training with relevant practical application
• Senior level knowledge and profund working experience of Java, Spring/Quarkus and Jakarta EE
• Good knowledge of Oracle Database (SQL), REST APIs and GitHub Actions
• More than 8 years of software developing experience
• Experience in working on international teams, preferably working with Germany
