This role is responsible for owning account performance end-to-end, including revenue, profitability, assortment strategy, and platform visibility.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in e-commerce/Q-commerce ecosystems within the FMCG sector and excels at combining data-driven decision-making with strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities Business Management & Growth Own the P&L for Q-commerce accounts, delivering on revenue, profitability, and market share targets Develop and execute platform-specific business plans aligned with growth objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with platform category managers and leadership teams Assortment, Listings & Content Drive product listings, catalogue optimization, and assortment planning Ensure accurate product content including images, descriptions, keywords, and taxonomy Identify assortment gaps using consumer insights and platform data Promotions & Visibility Planning Plan and execute promotional campaigns, banner ads, brand stores, and visibility initiatives Monitor campaign performance and optimize investments for maximum ROI Collaborate with marketing teams on performance marketing and platform campaigns Demand Forecasting & Supply Coordination Partner with supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock availability and replenishment Maintain high fill rates, minimize cancellations, and ensure seamless order fulfillment Monitor stock levels and manage inventory planning during peak demand periods Data Analytics & Performance Tracking Analyze sales performance, consumer behavior, competitive trends, and platform insights Prepare regular dashboards covering GMV, margins, ROI, and platform scorecards Recommend actionable insights to drive growth and improve performance Commercials & Negotiation Lead negotiations on margins, trade terms, visibility budgets, and annual plans Manage financial processes including claims, payments, and agreements Ensure strong financial discipline across all platform partnerships Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with supply chain, finance, marketing, category, and R&D teams Drive successful product launches through coordinated planning across functions Key Requirements MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management (preferred) 4–6 years of experience in key account management within Q-commerce or e-commerce (mandatory) Strong understanding of FMCG, food, beverages, or commodity categories Proven experience managing online platforms, fulfilment cycles, and promotional mechanics Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel, dashboards, and data tools High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments Preferred Skills Key Account Management | Quick Commerce | E-commerce Operations | Data Analytics | Negotiation | FMCG Sales
