This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 20-30 LPA) Min Experience: 9+ years Location: Hyderabad, Bengaluru JobType: full-time We are seeking a Java Tech Lead with strong AI tooling proficiency to lead full stack development squads.
The candidate will demonstrate an AI-first development mindset, combining deep Java and React skills with cloud infrastructure and DevOps expertise.
Key Responsibilities • Lead full stack development using Java, Spring Boot, React, and related technologies • Apply an AI-first development approach using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools • Design and build microservices, containerised applications on Kubernetes and Docker • Write complex SQL and manage both transactional and NoSQL databases • Apply Object-Oriented design principles (OOA/OOD/OOP) across the codebase • Work within Agile / DevOps environments and maintain CI/CD pipelines • Mentor team members on AI-assisted coding practices and engineering best practices • Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Skills & Experience Required • Total experience- 9+ yrs • 3+ years of full stack development — Java, Spring Boot/JPA, JavaScript, React, Thymeleaf, REST, JSON • 3+ years of containerisation and infrastructure — Kubernetes, Konvoy, Docker, GitHub • 3+ years of database engineering — SQL, functions, stored procedures across Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL • 3+ years of strong OOA/OOD/OOP design experience • 2+ years of DevOps and Agile delivery experience • 2+ years of cloud exposure — AWS, Azure, or GCP • Mandatory: hands-on experience with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) Note: Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) is mandatory.
Candidates will be practically evaluated on their AI-first development approach during technical interview.
