IT Senior Application Expert

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. As a Senior Application Expert working with Solution Architects and functional teams you will ensure the smooth and efficient systems operations that fulfil the needs of the customer.

Utilising your WMS knowledge and experience you contribute to solution delivery across the project lifecycle.

• Resolving incidents related with design, development, configuration, implementation, and regular maintenance of the Blue Yonder warehouse management system (WMS).
• Maintenance & Development of MOCA/SQL commands.
• Maintenance & Creation of manuals and documentation for end user use.
• Debug and resolve a variety of issues (performance and bugs) by reading through trace files.
• Develop utilities, procedures, and documentation upon operations requirements.
• Maintain application release control (version control).
• Mentor and train others.

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Domain knowledge in WMS solutions.
• JDA WMS / Discrete experience is a MUST.
• Experience of BY technology stack - MOCA Components, MTF, DDA/Pagebuilder, Reports and labels, WebUI, Integrator.
• A software house, consultancy or project delivery background.
• Strong problem-solving skills – experience of resolving complex technical or functional issues.
• Experience of understanding complex requirements and shaping into solutions.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, the ability to articulate technical issues and solutions with key stakeholders at all levels.
• Understanding of SDLC processes, ideally agile, and have a good experience on requirement analysis, design and implementation.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Ability to self-manage deliverables and due date.
