About the role

The IT&D SAP Solutions Director is a vital strategic leader bridging the gap between Global Operations (Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement) and the technical SAP ecosystem. This role drives the roadmap for enterprise resource planning, ensuring that the SAP landscape is not just a system of record, but a driver of operational excellence and real-time visibility. 

Your responsibilities

• Leading a global team of architects and functional leads, this role leverages S/4HANA, BTP, SAP ECC and integrated AI to streamline the "Core" of the business.
• Defining the multi-year roadmap for SAP migrating from JDE to SAP ECC  and to S/4HANA) to ensure scalability and reduced technical debt.
• Identifying opportunities to standardize business processes across global regions to eliminate "shadow IT" and custom-code bloat.
• Exploring Business Technology Platform (BTP) capabilities, including AI-driven forecasting and automated financial closing.
• Architect end to end SAP solutions, ensuring robust integration across core modules (FICO, SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, PS) and connected platforms such as BlackLine, HighRadius, OneSource, Concur, Kinaxis, SAP SAC, HFM & WMS systems.
• Manage global vendors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and offshore delivery teams, driving accountability and adherence to SLAs and quality standards.

The experience we're looking for

• 18+ years of experience in building high-quality SAP solutions through disciplined project execution, including estimation, resource planning, scope control, testing strategies, and change management.
• Deep understanding of end to end manufacturing processes including planning, production execution and quality management with proven ability to design and deliver SAP solutions that optimize manufacturing efficiency and operational performance.
• Proven capability to govern system design and configuration, enforce development standards, and minimize technical debt across markets and functions.
• Strong experience collaborating with global process owners and regional teams to deliver compliant global solutions and country-specific localizations.
• Demonstrated success leading end to end S/4HANA migration programs in the role of Solution Architect.
• Proven experience delivering SAP solutions involving Vistex and Trade Promotion Management, ensuring accurate pricing, rebates, incentives, and trade spend governance.
• Deep understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), and audit requirements within validated or compliance-driven environments.
• Ability to drive performance excellence in BAU operations, Continuous improvements, business enhancements, global business Processes, including monitoring KPIs, managing NPS/SLA adherence, and ensuring 99.9% availability for Platinum-tier systems.
