SLBCyber Securityteam has anopportunityinCoimbatoreor PuneforAssociate Cyber Security Engineer.TheAssociate Cyber Security Engineerwilljoin the Cyber Security team and be based in India, and will contribute to the following collaborative activities:

Keyresponsibilities

• Monitoring,and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.

  
  

• Ensuring thattheorganization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling theappropriate securitycontrols.

  
  

• Assess digital infrastructures for security vulnerabilities that may affect securityplanand pose potential threats.

  
  

• Testing andidentifyingnetwork and system vulnerabilities

  
  

• Evaluating the organization's security needs andestablishingbest practices and standards accordingly

  
  

• Conductingtesting and scans toidentifyany vulnerabilities in the network and system.

  
  

• Taking an active role in the change management process

  
  

• Participating in development of security controls or new security platforms forDevSecOps, data security, identity management, application security, IoT/OT security, and cloud security.

  
  

Qualifications and Requirements

• Good programming skills with at least one programming language and one scripting language (python preferred)

  
  

• Networking, OS, programming languages courses

  
  

• Cyber security courses (preferred notrequired)

  
  

• Networking, OS, programming languages courses

  
  

• Strong interest in cyber security and a long-term career in cyber security

  
  

• High GPA

  
  

• Relevant projects or internship experience 

  
  

• Fluency in English

  
  

• Strongcommunicationsskillsbothverbal andwritten.
