Internal Communications Specialist

We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to support global internal communications for the Water Solutions & Services (WSS) segment. Under the leadership of the WSS Communications Director, this role will play a key role in delivering cohesive internal communication initiatives across the business.

This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role responsible for helping bring communication plans to life. The Internal Communications Specialist will support content production, communication coordination, and communications operations that ensure employees and leaders stay informed and engaged.

The role focuses on communication execution and operational support, working from messaging and strategic direction provided by the WSS Communications Director. Requirement - Relevant Graduation (Business Administration) with 3 - 7 years of work experience

Key Responsibilities

Internal Communications Execution

• Support the execution of internal communications plans for WSS initiatives and priorities.
• Build and distribute internal newsletters, updates, and employee communications using approved content and messaging.
• Format and publish communication materials across internal channels.
• Coordinate the distribution of communication materials and supporting resources across the organization.

Communications Operations

• Manage and maintain communication, distribution lists, and mailing groups.
• Schedule and coordinate internal communication events, including town halls and leadership updates.
• Support meeting preparation and distribute follow-up materials, including summaries, recaps, and resources.
• Maintain communication calendars and track key communication activities.

Content Production & Digital Communications

• Use AI and digital tools to create summaries, visual recaps, short videos, and other communication assets.
• Support the preparation of communication materials, including presentation content, updates, and internal posts.
• Ensure communications are clear, well-formatted, and aligned with organizational messaging.

Communications Processes & Templates

• Develop and maintain templates for recurring communications, including organizational announcements, people announcements, and team updates.
• Help establish simple processes for submitting and distributing internal announcements to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and guides that support recurring communication activities.

Metrics & Reporting

• Pull and track metrics for internal communication channels, including newsletters, internal platforms, and employee communications.
• Track participation and engagement metrics for internal events such as town halls.
• Compile communication performance data into clear summaries and reports.
• Conduct basic analysis of communication metrics to identify trends and opportunities to improve engagement.

AMPAC Team Support

• Provide communications coordination support for AMPAC-based initiatives as needed.
• Assist HR partners and local communications teams with tactical communication needs, including formatting materials, distributing updates, and coordinating internal communication activities.
• Collaborate with the AMPAC communications team to support regional communication efforts when capacity allows.
