Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Software Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of software assets, from initial procurement to deployment, usage monitoring, and eventual retirement or disposal.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all software assets, including licenses, installations, and usage data.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed reports on software utilization, costs, and compliance for management review and decision-making.
Has the ability to create application packages in SCCM and possesses proven experience in application deployment and management.
Understands Windows System Update Services (WSUS) and can use reporting tools to identify and remediate out-of-compliance machines.
Has a deep understanding of Windows OS imaging and is able to create windows images as needed by the business.
Deep dive technical issues experienced by users of end user systems.
Has experience with Microsoft Autopilot.
Provides escalated support for printers, laptops, desktops, telephony systems, cellular systems and peripherals.
Manage and deploy devices via Intune.
Support and manage O365 E5.
Can manage and support SharePoint.
Understands domain topology and can research and resolve domain-based issues
Can work within set Service Level Agreements and can deliver solutions within a specified time frame.
Effectively communicate with customers by delivering exceptional customer experience.
Use reporting tools to create monthly reports regarding the overall health of the IT environment.
Participates in researching and identifying new solutions for the End User Client Team.
Provides guidance and mentorship to the Helpdesk and Desktop Services Team.
Acts as a final escalation point to user-based tickets.
Documents all work thoroughly in a Service Now based ticketing system.
Works with leadership to identify user-based technological trends, participates in exploring new strategies to resolve technical trends.
Manages projects and produces deliverables on time.
Participates in securing the IT environment by adhering to Principle of Least Access Privilege and works with Security teams to ensure new products and solutions adhere to security standards.
Understands ITIL 3.0 methodologies and supports effective Service Delivery.
Participating in the Change Management process.
Participates in the Quality Assurance process, tests new solutions and documents the results of the QA process.
Works with partnering teams to identify software solutions for business needs.
