Role Purpose
TheIDMC Data Quality Senior Analystis a key member of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team, responsible for the design, implementation, and operation ofData Quality solutions within Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
This role partners closely with Data Quality specialists, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate data quality requirements into scalable, compliant, andhigh‑performingsolutions. The Senior Analyst provides technical leadership across data quality rule design, validation, and service operations, ensuring data is reliable, auditable, and fit for business and regulatory use
Key responsibilities:
Data Quality Strategy & Implementation
Lead the technicaldesign, implementation, and maintenanceof Data Quality solutions using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
Define and ownIDMC Data Quality design standards, patterns, and best practices, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
Work withcross‑functionalteams to ensure Data Quality solutions are fully integrated within the broader IDMC ecosystem.
Data Quality Rule Design & Validation
Design, develop, and executeData Quality (DQ) rulesusing Informatica Cloud Data Quality (ICDQ), including:
Validation of rule logic and thresholds
Transformations and enrichment logic
Exception anderror‑handlingscenarios
Perform validation of DQ rules embedded withinIDMC mappings, mapplets, and integration tasks.
Executeend‑to‑endDQ workflow cycles, including:
Rejection logic
Suspense anderror‑queuehandling
Automated alerts and notifications
Record cleansing routines
Ensure consistent DQ rule behaviour acrossDEV, QA, and PRODenvironments andvalidatedeployment and migration activities.
Service Management & Operations
Overseeday‑to‑dayoperation ofIDMC Data Quality services, ensuring availability, performance, and stability.
ApplyITIL best practicesacross incident, problem, and change management.
Act as a senior technical escalation point for DataQuality‑relatedissues.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business stakeholders to understand data quality requirements and ensure solutions align with businessobjectives.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact forData Quality inquiries, issues, and enhancements.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders on status, risks, and outcomes.
Audit Readiness & Documentation
Ensure all DQ rules, mappings, configurations, approvals, and validation evidence areclearly documented, traceable, andaudit‑ready.
Support regulatory and internal audits through robust documentation and validation artefacts.
Continuous Improvement
Identifyopportunities to improve Data Quality processes, performance, and automation.
Stay current with Informatica IDMC enhancements, Data Quality trends, and industry best practices.
Contribute to the ongoing maturity of enterprise Data Quality capabilities
Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Informatica Cloud (IDMC) DATAQUALITYCertification
ITIL Certification.
Strong understanding of DATA QUALITY principles and best practices.
Strong understanding of DATA Profiling principles and best practices.
Integration & Orchestration
CDI (Cloud data integration) Building high performance ingress/egress jobs using Informatica connections with source and target systems
CAI (Cloud application integration) Building real time, event driven integrations using APIs (REST/SOAP)
Proficiencyin Python, SQL and Java related to IDMC development
IDMC Rest APIs
IDMC CI/D using Source control integration (Git), use of Azure DevOps or GitHub for automation, IDMC rest APIs forcheckin/out and pull code, code promotion flow
Informatica transformation language
XQuery functions and usage of them in IDMC
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in stakeholder management and communication.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to speak and write English.
Analytical ability to diagnose problems and to develop practical solutions.
Good communicationskills, both interpersonal and presentation.
Able to interact with and influence individuals.
Able to work effectively in a matrix organization across geographies and cultures.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in DataQuality, with a focus on Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
Proven experience leading DATAQUALITYprojects
Understanding of the Haleon Quality System and validation requirements, policies, procedures, and standards
