As a Full Stack Software Engineer Specialist you will be a member of a cross-functional team, delivering critical data solutions for financial markets around the globe. Your role and responsibilities include :

As Full Stack Software Engineer Specialist your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

• You will be responsible for the development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
• Be involved in the full software development life cycle, from planning and designing to coding and testing.
• Work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Responsible for providing user support and training. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
• Serve as technical expert on development projects. Support, maintain and documents software functionality. Participate in software design meetings and performs code reviews.

We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)

• Minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer with expertise in Web development. At least 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, React & Single-Page Web application experience.
• Must have worked on AWS.
• Should have worked on SQL, RESTful APIs, Spring and Spring Boot expertise.
• Proficiency with Linux commands and utilities including Bash scripting.
• Kotlin experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills that enable you to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Good communication and collaboration skills that enable you to work well with other developers, partners, and users.
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends that help you improve your skills and knowledge.
• Creativity and innovation in creating solutions that meet user needs and expectations and deliver value to the business.
• Attention to detail and quality assurance that ensure your software products are of high quality and meet the standards and requirements.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and cope with changing priorities and deadlines.
• A curiosity for the financial industry, with an interest in learning about the markets, products, and services that Nasdaq offers.
• Education Qualification: Degree qualified in a field related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

It would be great if you (Preferred Qualifications):

• Kotlin experience
• SaaS experience
• Understanding of Data Lakes and Data Warehousing
• Familiarity with big data tools and technologies
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Containers expertise (Docker and Kubernetes) 
• Experience with Calypso
