Job Summary**
VALEO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our finance department with various tasks and projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate finance within a global automotive technology company.
Job Responsibilities**
* Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, expense reports, and general ledger entries.
* Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and analyses.
* Conduct basic research on financial topics and industry trends.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
* Collaborate with other finance team members on special projects and initiatives.
* Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department's operations.
* Learn and apply company financial policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications**
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
