The role serves as a subject‑matter resource for the Guidewire platform, providing system‑level perspectives and implementing technical solutions aligned with business and architectural objectives.
It focuses on optimizing Guidewire configuration, building reliable integrations using APIs and messaging frameworks, and improving development and deployment processes through CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Documents and implements application changes following installation standards, coding conventions, and enterprise guidelines.
Analyzes and supports system requirements related to security, backup, recovery, restart, controls, and data integrity, recommending appropriate technical solutions.
Analyzes and documents requirements for data modeling and data conversion to support application functionality and integrations.
Performs quality checks on code, configuration, related components, and documentation; delivers production‑ready working code incrementally each sprint.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience required in solution engineering, software development, or related.
Minimum Hands on experience for 7 years in Guidewire products such as Policy center with Advanced product designer Hands on experience in either implementing a new PolicyCenter in SaaS model or migrating an on-prem / self-managed Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation to SaaS model.
Experience in design and development of Page configuration files , Business rules, Data models and Gunits Hands on with integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter with external custom portals Experience in Guidewire's Cloud Data Access platform Experience in GOSU, REST services, message queues and batch process.
Experience on Jutro Digital Platform is a plus In-depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles Must have a strong P&C domain knowledge and experience in implementing various integration and digital technology implementation in multiple places Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams preferred.
Should have Policy center Professional certification Special Skill Requirements: Configures and enhances Guidewire PolicyCenter functionality, including product model, rules, workflows, UI components, and extensions using Gosu, in accordance with Guidewire and enterprise standards.
Implements and supports integrations between PolicyCenter and internal/external systems using Guidewire APIs, messaging, events, and batch processes, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Collaborates closely with product owners, business partners, and solution engineering/architecture to clarify requirements and translate them into effective PolicyCenter configuration and integration solutions.
Performs detailed impact analysis across PolicyCenter configurations, integrations, data models, and business processes to support enhancements, defect fixes, and regulatory changes.
Develops, reviews, and maintains high‑quality code and configuration by adhering to coding standards, conducting peer code reviews, and supporting automated testing and validation activities.
Applies test‑driven and quality‑first development practices, supporting unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure solutions meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
Supports CI/CD and DevOps pipelines, including automated builds and deployments, environment troubleshooting, and release support to ensure consistent and efficient delivery.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex PolicyCenter and integration issues across development, test, and production environments, performing root cause analysis and driving issue resolution.
Mentors and supports junior developers by providing guidance on Guidewire configuration, Gosu development, integration patterns, and best practices.
Actively participates in Agile and SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, system demos, and retrospectives, delivering committed sprint and PI objectives Additional Qualifications: Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
