ETL Developer - DataStage

Project description We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in IBM DataStage to support enterprise data integration and transformation initiatives. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines, ensuring high data quality, and supporting data warehousing solutions. You will work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore locations. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage 11.7 Develop and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data processing Work with Oracle databases (preferably 19c) for data extraction, transformation, and loading Manage job scheduling and monitoring using Control-M Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for ETL deployments Perform shell scripting for automation and operational support Use Git for version control and code management Work in Linux environments for development and deployment activities Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and adherence to best practices Support release management and deployment processes using tools like Flyway/Artifactory Skills Must have 5+ years of strong ETL Development Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage 11.7 Good experience with Oracle Database (19c preferred) Working knowledge of Azure cloud platform Experience with Control-M for job scheduling Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines Proficiency in Shell scripting Experience with Git version control Strong experience working in Linux environments Good understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data integration Nice to have Exposure to Flyway for database version control Experience with Artifactory for artifact management Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Basic understanding of cloud-based data architectures Other Languages English: B2 Upper Intermediate Seniority Senior
