Erection Engineer

Job Title: Engineer / Junior & Senior Engineer – Launching (Segmental Construction)

Department: Competency Cell / Launching

Qualification:

• Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (Minimum)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 project experience in segmental construction / launching activities

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute and supervise segment shifting, lifting, and erection activities using launching gantries
• Handle threading, stressing, and grouting operations for PT systems
• Carry out recess filling, deck finishing, and block stressing works
• Ensure proper execution of dry matching of segments
• Operate and monitor launching gantries and associated equipment
• Work with and maintain hydraulic jacks and stressing jacks
• Coordinate with planning and site teams for smooth workflow and timely execution
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, method statements, and quality requirements
• Monitor productivity and minimize downtime of equipment
• Maintain basic documentation and reporting of daily activities

Key Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience in segmental launching operations
• Knowledge of PT systems and stressing procedures
• Familiarity with hydraulic and stressing equipment
• Basic understanding of construction safety practices
• Ability to work in coordination with cross-functional teams

Role Expectation:

• Responsible for end-to-end execution of launching gantry activities at site
• Ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of all segmental works
