Job Description Summary:

Under general direction, provide engineering skills toprovideinnovative andcost-effectivesolutionsrequiredintheembeddedsoftwaredesign.

Key skills:

Embedded software Development,C/C++ Software,Microcontroller/Microprocessor/DSP programming.

Main Functions/Responsibilities:

Knowledge on embedded software development on8/16/32-bitmicrocontrollers/ProcessorsIntel/Atmel/AVR/ARM/PIC.

1. KnowledgeonTI DSP familysoftware development using codecomposer.

   
   

1. Understanding oncompilers/Debuggers/assemblers.

   
   

1. Interfacing withmultiple interfaces such as SPI, I2C, CAN,UARTetc.

   
   

1. Real Time Systems Concepts,Digital Logic and Circuits, Memory, FPGAInterfacingand I/O interfacing

   
   

1. Object Oriented Concepts and its application in software design;Object Oriented Programming Language (preferably C++)

   
   

1. Understanding of Concepts onSoftware Engineering and Product Life Cycle Models

   
   

1. Responsible for all aspects of a project including design, programming,design documentation/specifications,simulationand testing.

   
   

1. Algorithm Development & Softwarecoding.

   
   

1. Liaising with Electrical Engineers inHardwareBoard Debugging and Board Bring-up & Testing.

   
   

1. Any RTOS experience will be a plus.

   
   

Education:

Bachelor/Master of Engineeringin Electrical or Electronics Engineering/ Software Engineeringfrom a premier Tier-2 college(PreferablyNITs or Deemed University) in India.

Skills Required:

• Expertisein software Languages:Embedded C,C,C++,Visual C++,RTOS experience

  
  

• Strong knowledge of digital design and communication protocols.

  
  

• Experience inhardwareboard testing and debugging.

  
  

• Basic Statistical analysis.
