Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.
Must have skills : Oracle Applications DBA
Good to have skills : PostgreSQL

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and policies to maintain clear operational guidelines.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of database installation, configuration, and upgrade processes.
- Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for database environments.
- Ability to optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and access control management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
