Data Visualization Senior Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Visualization Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering and analytics. This role blends data engineering + BI visualization, with a strong focus on building scalable data pipelines and transforming them into meaningful business insights using Tableau.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS Glue, S3, APIs, and PL/SQL, with a strong ability to translate complex datasets into executive-ready dashboards and storytelling visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Integration

• Design and build data pipelines using AWS Glue and Snowflake for structured and semi-structured datasets
• Develop ingestion frameworks using:
  • APIs (REST-based ingestion)
  • Batch and near real-time processing
• Manage and optimize data lakes on AWS S3
• Implement transformation logic using SQL / PL-SQL

Data Modelling & Preparation

• Design semantic layers and data models for BI consumption
• Optimize datasets for high-performance analytics in Tableau
• Build aggregated, curated datasets aligned with business KPIs
• Ensure schema evolution and data standardization

Visualization & BI Development (Core Responsibility)

• Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau
• Create executive-level visual storytelling (KPIs, trends, drill-downs)
• Define and implement:
  • Data visualization best practices
  • Dashboard performance optimization
  • Reusable reporting templates

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with:
  • Business stakeholders
  • Data analysts
  • Data engineering teams
• Translate business requirements into data models and dashboards
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data
