The Consumer and Media View/Insights (CMV/I) Operations team are responsible for ongoing delivery of survey data to clients. The Nielsen Consumer survey provides a 360 degree view of the consumer, and provides valuable insights to our clients on what people are buying, watching and doing. 


Our Operations team, based in Bangalore, are seeking an enthusiastic, permanent new team member to join the hard working, collaborative team. 


Day to day, The Operations Executive plays an important role in impacting what we provide to clients.  They will work closely with key stakeholders in the CMV survey process to ensure the data we provide is quality, accurate and timely. 



Qualifications

Stakeholders include:


*Pacific Production Team based in Australia & New Zealand: Responsible for the end-to-end data production and resource management.


* Customer Success team based in Australia & New Zealand: Work closely with the Operations team to ensure consistency in the data, supporting client requests & assisting in meeting market needs. Making improvement suggestions to the CMV survey.


*Programming team: Managing the back end of the survey. Communicating and updating the programmers on required changes and updates.


The key responsibilities of the role include:


  • Responsible for preparing and processing of data in a timely and quality driven manner
  • Responsible for ensuring all Quality Control checks and analysis required by the Operations Team are completed within the agreed timeframes and in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Ensure quality of data is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure all scheduled tasks are completed within the given timeline.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Pacific production team on a daily basis to ensure a smooth data delivery to CMV/I Clients.
  • Contributing towards the quality delivery of data to clients, following appropriate procedures and approval in the given time.
  • Contribution towards process improvement and implementation.
  • Report daily tasks in the reporting software and to your manager.
  • Work inclusively with your team and stakeholders.

Additional Information

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :


Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:


  • Bachelor degree; Majors in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related fields are preferred and have at least 2 years relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet tight delivery deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, within a global company
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good organisational skills & the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Confidence liaising with internal stakeholders
  • An interest in data analytics
  • Outside of the box, solution focused thinking
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets preferred
  • Knowledge of any programming codes like SQL preferred
  • Any experience in the Market Research industry is an advantage
